Mini Show at La Familia Gallery

La Familia Gallery is turning mini! The entire Gallery will feature a group show with over 275 pieces all sized to be exactly 5" x 5". We are excited to invite you to two special receptions. Our Holiday Party Reception will be on Thursday December 17th from 6-9pm. This is also our "take it off the walls" event where purchased work can be taken home right then and there (if you pay with cash or card). Come mingle with the artists and enjoy light snacks and drinks.
La Familia Gallery will also be hosting an "Early Opening Reception" before December's First Thursday (12/3) just for you, our patrons. We want to give you the opportunity to be the first to view the new pieces by all our artists. The Reception will start at 430pm and run till 6pm. The Gallery will then remain open till 9pm for regular Art Walk Hours. We look forward to seeing you there!

Blue with Birds is one of my paintings displayed at Collin's Pub (Seattle) during the months of October and November. This show titled Viva La Femenina features work by 4 female artists from La Familia Gallery including 5 of my works. Collin's Pub is a great hang out, so grab a drink or dinner there the next time you're downtown and check out the art!

Today I hung 15 paintings and drawings up at Imigri, a marketing and production company here in Seattle. I love seeing art displayed in living/ working spaces as an alternative to the gallery, and also the exposure to a broader audience. The work will be up through the end of September.

June Show at La Familia Gallery

I'm very excited about my first solo show at La Familia Gallery. My show, Patterns, includes 14 paintings and drawings from over the past year. The show opened June 4th during Seattle's first Thursday artwalk and runs though June 27th.

I joined La Familia Gallery in December 2008 and have enjoyed getting to know the staff and artists over the past several months. La Familia is a co-op gallery and has provided me with great resources and an amazing art community.
